And Reconciliation

2021-22 Preparation Programme

Following the summer break, we will begin to prepare children for First Reconciliation (Confession) and First Holy Communion. This programme of preparation is open to all baptised Catholic children in Year Four and above.

Should you judge your child to be ready to make this important step, please could you indicate your interest by completing the application form which can be downloaded here and returning it to the Parish Office as soon as possible.

Attendance at all the preparation sessions and Sunday Mass is an essential sign of commitment to the preparation – so please consider this requirement before committing your child to this programme.

FHC 2020

Following much disappointment at the cancellation of our First Holy Communion Mass in the summer due to Covid-19, it was therefore wonderful during Autumn to celebrate on several occasions with individual families the First Holy Communion of their children at Sunday Masses.

Our prayers and congratulations go to our wonderful young people as they take this next step on their Pilgrimage of Faith with Jesus.

We look forward to recommencing First Holy Communion Preparation in the New Year. Our thanks, as always, go to our Catechists who accompany our children.
