This season's series of Galilee Talks continue on Saturday 10th February with an event led by Max Winthrop and Joan Peugniez.
The talk is entitled "Reformation 500", with Max and Joan delivering a talk about the history and impact of The Reformation.
The Reformation was a schism from the Roman Catholic Church initiated by Martin Luther and continued by John Calvin, Huldrych Zwingli, and other early Protestant Reformers in 16th century Europe. It is usually considered to have started with the publication of the Ninety-Five Theses by Luther, in 1517, lasting until the end of the Thirty Years' War with the peace of Westphalia in 1648.
Refreshments will be served from 10:30am, with the talk itself starting at 11:00am. Everyone is welcome to attend what promises to be a very informative event.
